A series of cast terrazzo and mosaic paving flags designed for the new garden in the Mental Health unit at Stepping Hill Hospital.  Creative workshops with patients and staff explored the theme of nature and the use of outdoor spaces within a clinical setting.  The consultation process helped promote the project within the department as well as wider hospital.  The project generated a sense pride and ownership in the newly established, and invaluable, outdoor space at the heart of the department.
